Artist
Lo Fine is the indie slow-core americana band, and recording project, started in Northampton, Massachusetts by singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Kevin O'Rourke in 1998. Since then, O'Rourke has been the sole constant member, with collaborators including Bruce Tull of Scud Mountain Boys, Peyton Pinkerton (New Radiant Storm King, Silver Jews, Pernice Brothers), José Ayerve (Spouse), members of Rehab Massachusetts, Matt Sutton (Malarkies), and Nina Violet (Willy Mason). They have released three full length albums, and three EPs, notably incorporating home recordings with studio tracks. The music is noted for its slow pace, quiet volume, and poetic lyrics, as well as being described as meditative, gentle, and melancholy.
