Lizzy Price makes bedroom pop and dream pop from somewhere on the internet. She releases music through the dream hawaii label, a self-run project that functions as much as a world as a music operation. You can explore more at the website (dreamhawaii.blue). Most listeners find their way in through one door and realize there are more. Her songs are melodically immediate but lyrically uncomfortable in a way that isn't always obvious at first. Something like "ghost girl" sounds like a song you'd fall asleep to until you're actually listening to it. Parts of the dream hawaii catalog honor Ocean Price. ALL WE NEED IS HERE came out that way in October 2025, on the same night as her own YOU BELONG TO THE CITY (DELUXE), a 14-track record released on Halloween. The two were tied together. Her most recent project is cinnamon oil inc., which goes somewhere different from the earlier bedroom pop work. There's a concept to it that doesn't seem quite right, I just can't place it. Has anyone else found more? Something about this feels like it goes a lot deeper than it looks.
