Living Room for Small is an alternative pop group from Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, made up of members Nathan Forler (Vocals), Owen Tester (Guitar) and Matty Parker (Drums). The origin of the band occurred during lockdown, releasing their own cover of Harry Styles' 'Watermelon Sugar’. Due to the pandemic, it pushed Nate and Owen into producing at home, recording everything in a small living room. After the release of ‘California’ and ‘Tease Me,’ Matty joined the group. With the success that ‘Tease Me’ had as a second single, it led them to work with Dan Hosh, a producer/engineer out of Toronto. With Dan working with renowned bands/artists such as City & Colour, Arkells, The Glorious Sons etc. LRFS wanted to take their music to new heights, having a wider, more professional sounding mix. ‘Talk’ was released on February 14th, mixed by Dan and mastered by Kristian Montano, a mastering engineer out of Toronto working, with clients such as The Strumbellas, Dear Rouge etc. The plan for LRFS is to release their debut album in 2022, working with Dan and Kristian. On the other side of things, the band is preparing support MONOWHALES in Waterloo in October. Many of the sounds/guitar tones are Inspired by lovelytheband, The Band CAMINO, The 1975 and 5SOS. “Being from Brighton, England, I feel as though my writing is heavily inspired by many of UK’s Pop, Indie and Alternative artists that are currently in circulation right now. The 1975 being the biggest influence.” User-contr
