Guitarist, singer, songwriter Little G Weevil (born July 6, 1977) is one of the most unique entertainers on the scene today. His approach to the American Roots and Blues Music makes him one of a kind. This high energy and very laid back performer sings his heart out, picks his guitar like he just got "struck by lightning" and tells his real life stories in a way that is really hard to forget. At the age of 35 he already has performed in fourteen countries on three continents, occasionally sharing the stage with his musical icons. Little G Weevil started out as a drummer and began playing the guitar at 17. He was introduced and captivated by the music scene through listening to legendary musicians such as John Lee Hooker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Albert Collins, B.B. King and Chuck Berry. “John Lee Hooker and his blues was for me, like my grandfather and the tales he use to tell. When I first heard the songs Hobo Blues and Never Get Out of These Blues Alive, I thought to myself, God, I am part of this, I feel it, I belong to this.” Ever since he started his career he has focused solely on the music of the American South and this can be clearly heard in his compositions. Although he has never had formal guitar or vocal lessons he now performs worldwide. He established his own band in 1998.
