There is more than one band with the name Little Creatures 1) Little Creatures are a Japanese rock band formed in 1987 by Aoyagi Takuji (vocals, guitar), Suzuki Masato (bass, keyboards), and Kurihara Tsutomu (drums and percussion). They have released seven albums to date, starting with VISITA (1991) up to NIGHT PEOPLE (2005). 2) Little Creatures is a pop/rock band from Toronto, Canada formed in 2010 3) Little Creatures is a folk/indie duo (sometimes trio) from Brisbane, Australia. They released an 11-track CD called "Little Creatures" in 2009. Little Creatures’ has a long history. Back in the early 2000’s, drummer Alison MacLean and bassist Chris Sytnyk met when they were playing in the Canadian alternative rock band MAdE. After releasing two albums for Universal Music, MAdE left the label in the midst of the merger with Polygram Records, leaving the remaining members to search for a new musical direction. With the drumming and touring taking up less of her time Alison began concentrating more on songwriting. After submitting a demo version of her song Tennessee to the MIX 99.9 Standard Radio Songwriting Competition, Alison won the Regional competition and then the National competition. Next came her second place showing in the Unisong International Songwriting Contest in the AA category.
