Lisa Cat-Berro is a young saxophonist whose name is today in the landscape of French jazz. She is also a composer and arranger. After studying literature (hypokhâgne Khâgne and the Lycée Henri IV), she joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she graduated in 2007. For 10 years, she has built a solid experience in the world of jazz, but also in world music or the performing arts. She performs with his own quartet, a repertoire of original compositions where it is accompanied by very active musicians of the jazz scene, drummer Nicolas Larmignat, guitarist Julien and Stéphane Omé Decolly bass. She is currently preparing a disc with this training, with the support of the National Theatre "The Passageway" at La Rochelle, and Gaya label productions. (Released in 2012). It has been heard in the Lady Rhoda Scott Quartet with Sophie and Julie Saury Alour in the club in Paris or in the biggest festivals (Jazz in Vienna in 2011).
