The german Progressive-Alternativ-Rock band "Liquid God" is one of the most difficult to categorize bands in the german rockscene. Founded in 2002 by Roman Grace the band LIQUID GOD managed to tour with American funkrockers MOTHER TONGUE throughout Germany (without having a record deal,management or booking agency) almost right from the start, having nothing but a five-track demo and their will to leave a remarkable landmark on the "alternative music" landscape. And they succeeded in this very first step of their mission. Further on, only a few month after their foundation, the band managed to share the stage with bands like CALIBAN,ALEC EMPIRE,STRAIGHT,AMPLIFIER and many more. Liquid god convinced a lot of different and sometimes critical,or shall we say narrow-minded, audiences. Liquid God were on fire and recorded their debut album "NANGOL" during winter 2003/2004 at the famous Soundlodge Studio, produced by Jörg"jay"Uken. The press reactions were quite overwhelming. The record cemented the bands reputation as being visionary composers, not willing to be suppressed by usual musical dogmas. Not willing to follow any existing form of old-fashioned songwriting rules. Nangol still is a furious and unprecedental statement of a band that surely is one of those seldom species…an original, not a copy. At the end of 2004 the band made the next step and toured with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and POISON THE WELL to spread the disease and, again, surprised every crowd they were playin
