The story of Lions of the Vine starts with Matt Sevrens, a singer-songwriter who has a sweet tooth for pop. Their music emulates many different genres such as 40s Jazz, Bossa Nova, Classic Rock, Indie Pop, Alternative Christian Contemporary, and Top 40 Pop. Members of LOTV come from bands such as The Sweet Hurt, The Robats and Lets Go Sailing. They've also performed with The Gingersnaps, Cable Car Stars, and Dahlak from Zion-I.
