Lionel Belmondo (born 1963 in Hyeres, France) is a saxophonist, flutist, composer, arranger and producer of jazz. One of the bastions of modern French jazz scene, Belmondo has been involved in various projects, ranging from classic bop to the avant-garde. In 2004 and 2006 he was awarded with the prestigious Victoires du Jazz award. Belmondo frequently collaborates with his brother Stéphane Belmondo.
