There are two bands who go by the name Linus & Lucy: 1) Matt Cassillo (also of Merrymaker and Migrating Animals) and Shannon Calderon met on a crisp fall day in November of 2005 at the Old Navy clothing store where they worked together in Huntington Station, NY. Before long, the two became good friends and realized that they shared similar tastes in music, amongst other things. In 2007 and 2008, they began playing their own interpretations of songs by their favorite bands together on a regular basis, and a short time later, they decided that they would one day record these songs if they ever got the chance. The product is a perpetually growing collection of unique, one-take, single-track covers recorded under the moniker of Linus & Lucy. The future is bright.
