In the late autumn of 2005 singer and songwriter Linda Tikkanen asked few friends to come and play some songs she had written. They got deeply interested in the music and began to work up Linda's sketches. In February 2006 Lintu recorded a two-song-demo in a great hurry. Tracks contained on the CD are Black Wings and When The Crocodiles Cried. Later in the spring Lintu also had its first performances. In October 2006 bass player Topi Viitasalo replaced Tatu Santaniemi. Lately Lintu has been working on new material. In the begining of 2007 the band recorded another two pieces at conservatory and one song at Sakari Heikkilä´s apartment, which he produced. Lintu released a three-song EP in April 2007.
