There are at least 8 bands called Limousine: 1) Vaporwave DJ and musician from Los Angeles who has a taste for pro wrestling flair. 2) Limousine were formed in Cordoba, Spain by mid 2001 under the premise of creating different rock music, evocative and that didnt rely on mainstream criteria. Their career started when they stood for the contest Desafinado, whose jury had distinguished personalities of the national alternative scene as Jesus Llorente (in charge of the label Acuarela), J (singer of Los Planetas), or Julio Ruiz (Discogrande - RNE3). The members of the jury were astonished when the band decided to leave the stage at the very half of their performance, refusing to play under the awful sound conditions that the organization provided. In spite of this, the band gave evidence of their personality and quality as performers and were proclaimed winners of the edition together with two other local bands: Blue Channel and Deneuve. The prize made it possible to record three songs (A Drive, But Im Going Down and Cmon) in a professional studio so they could introduce themselves to some record labels. Several of them were interested in releasing their first long-play, and the band opted for Mushroom Pillow, a label from Madrid of Galician origin.
