Lily Vasquez was born in Barranquilla Colombian and was raised with the folkloric sound from her native country as well as Vallenato and Bolero. She migrated to the United States at the age of 14 where she was introduced to Rock, Pop and R&B. Her music represents her life, not only in the sound of her songs but also in the lyrics. Besides being a singer/songwriter she is also a professional salsa/mambo dancer, actress and TV host. At this time she's recording her second production, which is due to be released February 2008.
