Donald Smith (born September 13, 1974 in Long Beach, California), better known by his stage name Lil’ ½ Dead, is an American rapper currently signed to Snoop Dogg’s label Doggystyle Records. Known for his G-Funk style, he began his career as a rapper in the group 213 with cousin Nate Dogg, Warren G and Snoop Dogg. In 1994 he released his solo debut album The Dead Has Arisen, and followed this up with 1996’s Steel On A Mission. He is featured on the song Housewife from Dr. Dre’s 1999 album 2001, and is mentioned in the songs Fuck You and Lil Ghetto Boy, both by Dr Dre.
