Artist
Lights and Sounds began with Maxwell Britton recording A Million Lights for fun in 2006 with the help of future band members Jack Merriman (drums) and Alex (keys). When A Million Lights became popular he recorded another track called Look What You've Become. This being even more popular than the first track, Max decided to make a go of turning this project into a band. Jack and Alex became permanent members and James Hatcher (guitar) and George Sparks (bass) joined the line-up. With further recordings of tracks such as Once In A Lifetime, The Story of Me and You and Star of this Show, they landed a few local gigs. However, with the help of local record label Treebrain Records, the head of Drive-Thru Records caught wind of their work. He gave them a total of four gigs with more well-known bands such as Self Against City and Hellogoodbye.
