Light In May is a metalcore band from South Eastern Connecticut that has come together from such other bands as Root Of Redemption and Clairaudience. All of the members have been playing music for years and just recently came together through mutual friends. The band is not looking to break any molds in today's music scene but they do have the heart, desire and passion to spread their music to as many people that will listen. The band features members; Andrew Cilley (vocals), Karl Kohler(bass), Caleb Morth (drums/vocals), Nick McCormack (guitar) and Mikey Babcock (guitar). These five men just recently recorded three songs with Jay DeLuca and posted them on their myspace on November 11, 2009. These are three of the bands first songs written together and will be released as an online EP, which you will be able to download. Although some members of the band have been playing together for years, Light In May has only been a band for around three months. The band will be playing out as much as possible as they continue to write songs for a future release sometime in 2010. They plan on playing all over New England so if you are interested in having them play a show please send them a message!
