Light Shall Previal was started in 2001 as a one-man project called DARKDARK by Wavy S (Wrathful Plague, Glaciial, Agothothodion). by 2003, DARKDARK was a 3-piece group, who played a total of two live shows. together. DARKDARK turned back into a one-man project in 2005, and the name was changed to LIGHT SHALL PREVAIL. LPS has earned a strong position as one of the top US-unblack (white metal) bands in the Midwest, releasing over a dozen albums, with releases such as "Goatcrush" being critically acclaimed as US-unblack masterpieces.
