Artist
The entity known as Lifeboat Etiquette was birthed in the summer of 2006 in Fort Collins, Colorado as the solitary member Ryan Hollen. Most of the early songs were really so-so, and we'd prefer you not hear them. Chalk it up to ambition with a lack of coordination. However, somewhere around 2008 things started to sound somewhat professional, as far as musicianship is concerned. For starters, an attractive young woman who would become Ryan's wife started accompanying him on keys and backing vocals. It was hot. Then, in 2010, on the cusp of recording their first full-length, professional album, the addition of Shawn Keefer was made, just to round out those three-part harmonies and guitar parts that Ryan can't quite pull off by himself. The result today is something between a musical-hug and a really good cigarette. Hope you enjoy what you hear. I'm glad you've taken the time to read this far, and hopefully we'll see you soon.
