Life Is Pain was a Czech-Swedish depressive black metal band and is a collaboration between two of the most well known depressive black metal artists; Kim Carlsson (Kyla, Hypothermia, Lifelover) and Trist (Trist (Cze), ex Deep-Pression, Funeral of My Soul). Trist wrote the lyrics in mental hospital and also did the music for this project. Kim performed the haunting vocals. The only release from Life is Pain is a 24:01 minute long CD called "Bloody Melancholy", limited to 500 copies.
