Lexie Liu (刘柏辛, born December 21, 1998) is a multilingual Chinese singer, songwriter, and producer known for her futuristic blend of R&B, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. Lexie first gained international attention in 2015 after competing on the South Korean reality show K-pop Star 5 as part of the girl group Mazinga S, which finished in fourth place. In 2018, she rose to fame in China as a standout contestant on The Rap of China, where her performance of “Mulan” earned her another fourth-place finish and solidified her image as a forward-thinking artist with global appeal. Her first original single, “Coco Made Me Do It,” was released in 2017, followed by “Like a Mercedes,” “Sleep Away,” and “Mulan,” which later appeared on her debut album 2019.
