To truly understand Levity’s Law is to understand what music means to them. “To me music is about connections,” says Tyler Wheeler, lead vocalist and co-founder of Levity’s Law. “It’s about expressing yourself honestly in a way that can be both interpreted and related to ones life, which in turn creates an almost palpable affinity between the artist and the listener. Music is a conduit that allows us as individuals to connect intellectually and emotionally. If you’re being genuinely honest with yourself and you’re creating something that is real, people will connect with it.” Jeremy Bardwell, lead guitarist and co-founder of Levity’s Law has similar views on how important substance is in music. “We are only interested in creating art, something that truly means something to us,” states Jeremy, “Music just happens to be the avenue we chose. So we intend on creating music that is relevant, poignant and meaningful or not at all.” With Levity’s Law both their conviction and their music is infectious. The first track on their newly released E.P. “The Art of Losing” is the song “My Affliction”. It introduces you to them with an indelible piece you’ll find yourself singing throughout the day. It will also have you analyzing and interpreting the thought provoking elements, overtones and layers that is their work.
