Leviticus Appleton was born in a bed in a hot month. He grew up being teased about his "hot mom", and to cope, would pretend they meant while she was giving birth. It must have been very hot giving birth in such a hot month in the morning. Its been all nights and no mornings ever since for this dynamic artist. Struggling with stuff he doesn't talk about seems not to hinder his ability to write, perform, and record some of the most natural sounding expression through music ever made. He has a multiple personality complex and each one of his projects differs greatly from the other. For a solo artist, he pulls a lot of tricks out of his hat. He's got a biiiiig hat. Some of his other musical endeavors include EL MNO and Big Gay Horse , and even as Leviticus Appleton has released a variety of sounds ranging from "stomach friendly" (a genre he coined) acoustic music to emotionally driven dance tunes. He has released one album with Apes Tapes out of Portland, Oregon and remains affiliated with them still, though his most recent recordings have been independently released for free online.
