At the age of 15, Levi Ware picked up a guitar for the very first time. Little did he know the incredible and awe-inspiring journey that lay ahead of him. Instilled with an adeptly strong love for music, Levi Ware has established himself as an accomplished singer-songwriter with a style all his own hovering somewhere between folk, rock and indie. In a time where skepticism and mistrust seem all too common, Levi Ware’s music is a breath of fresh air offering inspiration to the underlying love, trust, and belief that so many of us seem to keep hidden just beneath the surface. Reaching through the depths, Levi has learned to bare his mind, heart and soul through his music. At age 20, he and two friends, (Ethan Anderson and Daryl Kikuchi) formed the harmoniously soul-filled bluesy folk band—A Bird of Passage—gaining much local attention and enthusiasm. With a keen sense of musicianship and a solid work ethic “Passage” gained notoriety both locally and nationally earning them opening slots for recognized artists such as Heart, The Posies and The Spin Doctors; as well as becoming well established within NACA (National Association of Campus Activities) touring the West Coast and Mid-Western U.S. After putting out two well-received albums, “Passage” learned their name had already been used by a 70’s jazz band thus were influenced to change their name to Vast Capital (V.C).
