Leverage is a Finnish heavy metal / hard rock band originating from the Jyväskylä area . Their style is reminiscent of Rainbow and Stratovarius , they call it Heavy Metal themselves. The band was formed in 2002 by Pekka Heino, Tuoppi Heikkinen and Torsti Spoof. Together they began to work on songs. In 2006 they released their debut album Tides , which is influenced by 1980s metal.
