Lethal Company is a survival horror video game developed by Zeekerss. In the game, players work for a mysterious space company and venture to the various abandoned moons where they have to collect the junk. While scavenging the moons, players will occasionally encounter severe weather conditions, natural and man-made traps, and various monsters, most of which are aggressive and dangerous. After collecting the junk, players must sell it to the company before the deadline in order to meet the ever-increasing quota. Selling items is paid for with in-game currency, which can be spent on the purchase of items that aid players in their task or for entertainment purposes. Two of the items in the in-game shop are a boombox and a record player, which can play a limited number of unnamed songs. Specifically, 5 songs on the boombox and only 1 record on the record player. The boombox songs consists of various genres, like synthwave and hip-hop. The record player record resembles jazz. The game itself also includes calm ambient piano music, which sometimes plays when the player wanders outside on any of the moons.
