Bojan Petkov - guitar; Ivo Soldatovic - clarinet; Kiril Tufekchievski - bass; Petar Hristov - tenor saxophone; Slavcho Kocev - drums. Hometown Skopje Description They like to let the music speak for themselves, but meanwhile, all You need to know is that these guys gave jazz a chance, without knowing the music would trick them; so it became their shrine, friend, lover and teacher. When they realized this, they made a deal with freedom itself, and so the Flying Pekinese was unleashed. They're not trying to sound like they should have been born ages ago, actually, they don't really plan their sound ahead. The ideas build up and progress in an unpredictable way, until they become mature enough to end on paper. The interpretation is honest and intense at all times, and perhaps the most interesting part is the touch of childish naughtiness which can be felt in their music and playing style. So beware, anything can happen when a Pekinese flies! User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
