Lest is a heavy prog band based in Oberkirch, France, that was founded by bassist Pascal Rameix, guitarist and vocalist Sebatien Mauve, and drummer Kickers in 1995. The band was mostly underground when they first formed, simply writing and rehearsing music influenced by the last four decades of progressive music. It wasn't truly until 2008 when the band emerged as a live act, playing around France. In 2011, the band was signed by ELOY's record label Artist Station and released their debut album, Odysseus that same year.
