Music, in both creation and performance, is obviously a deep passion for seventeen-year-old singer/songwriter Leslie Mosier. She started piano lessons at age four (in Hawaii), began playing flute in the fourth grade (in Iceland), and rapidly exhibited great musical skill and a love for being on stage. Although her piano and flute studies concentrated on a classical repertoire, Leslie’s true interests leaned more toward pop-rock. Attending rock concerts and seeing other young performers on stage made Leslie eager to expand her musical horizons, so for her thirteenth birthday she asked for and received an acoustic guitar. Exhibiting incredible music creativity and gifted with perfect pitch and a MacBook Pro, Leslie began crafting songs on her own in high school (Chesapeake, Virginia). She finally shared one of her songs with a friend, the extremely talented artist Dave Melillo (Nocturnal Me, Cute is What We Aim For), who put her in contact with his awesome producer/engineer, Mike Brylinski (Goo Goo Dolls, Cute is What We Aim For) and an EP was born. “Single Moment,” Leslie’s debut EP release, has four songs written and sung by herself and a duet written by and performed with Dave Melillo.
