about

Les Molies were formed in the early 90s in Strasbourg, France, by Jacqueline and Régine Yoesslé, Jacques Speyser, Franck Marxer and Renaud Sachet. They were strongly influenced by English and Scottish indie pop from the 80s. Their brand of male/female vocals and sweet jangly guitars resemble The Pastels, The Telescopes and My Bloody Valentine circa "Ecstasy and Wine", among others. After the release of LP "Kumcat" in 1994, they disbanded and went on to form other bands, such as Buggy.
