Les Bellas

Hailing from Perpignan (North Catalonia/France) and named after a defunct neighbouring doll brand, Les Bellas raised from the ashes of several local '90s garage combos such as Les Gardiens du Canigou, Les Beach Bitches etc. In turn, Les Bellas was the precursor to The Limiñanas. Guitarists Giom Picard and Lionel Liminana teamed up again in 2003, this time with their gals Marie Liminana (drums) and Nadege Figuerola (vocals, trumpet). Rarely playing outside of their turf, Les Bellas released two wonderful garage-pop singles "Electrified" and "Hey, I'm Going Down" on the local Profet label in 2005. These 4 sides got them rave reviews and an LP offer was quickly turned by a famous West Coast garage punk label in 2006. Eventually said famous label honcho flaked and by 2007 the band disintegrated. With everyone moving to some exciting new projects such as The Limiñanas, the Bellas LP remained unreleased until two Parisian labels SDZ and LES DISQUES STEAK decided to join forces to finally unleash this monster to the world. "Belladelic" is Les Bellas debut full-length LP. Comprised of 10 originals and 2 ripping versions of Wanda Jackson 's "Funnel of Love" and the Cryin' Shames Gentlemen's classic , all self produced and recorded for this album, tracks include the moody "Drown" and "Ego Psycho", the rock'n'roll rollercoaster "Mistrial Blues", the fuzz epic "Got my Soul", the unforgettable "I did my Time". And then there is the warped french pop of "I love You" and "Belladeli
