Lerin / Hystad is a Swedish/Norwegian artist and music duo formed in 2010. Their music combines field-recordings with ambient soundscapes, heavy drones, electronic music and post-rock. They released their debut album Mount Buzhou in 2014. They have also released a vinyl box set together with Damo Suzuki. Their music have been released on Clouds Hill, Extemporaneous Recordings and Animals. Lerin / Hystad are also active improvisers and have collaborated with Damo Suzuki, Keiji Haino, Omar Rodriguez Lopez, Schneider TM amongst others.
