Leontré Feyona Roberts, was born on the 27th of September 1988. She grew up in the town of Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Leontre attended the Santa Cruz Preparatory School, which she started at age two and then matriculated to the Hampton School for girls where she attended forms one through to lower sixth. Since birth, she has attended the ‘Rocky Hill Bible Truth Church of God’. At the tender age of five she started singing and writing poems and songs and led her first choir performance in church at age seven. She has, since then, been completely sold out to music. It was at Hampton School that Leontre developed her singing and writing abilities. She was a member of the Hampton Day Girl Choir which she directed in her fifth form year. She was a contestant in the Miss Jamaica World Western 2006 beauty pageant where she was placed 4th, and awarded best figure and skin tone, she then went on to Miss Jamaica World 2006 where she was placed in the top ten and held the title of Miss Jamaica Talent. In 2008 leontre was crowned Miss St. Elizabeth Festival Queen and placed top five in the national competition. Leontre enjoys dancing, reading, writing poems, songs and short stories, swimming, kickboxing, painting and singing her heart out. One can tell from her choice of activities that she enjoys curving, manipulating, joining; whether it be words, paint, a pencil, her voice or body to make even the simplest expressions.
