Leo is a pianist, composer and multi-instrumentalist artist. Leo also works and relies heavily on visual expressions such as animation, visual art and photography to support his music work. A classic example of a renaissance man. Leo started showing great interest on all expressions of art and creativity at an early age. Born in a highly music inclined family, Leo started formal music academic training at the early age of 7 and continued for several years, which helped him become familiarized with the logical and technical aspects of music. He then began to progressively shape his work identity with the assistance of several exceptional music maestros who coached him in the different areas of composition and performing while largely following a self-taught routine. This helped him, to reach a unique and special predisposition to create his own composition rules, that eventually gave birth to his current contribution to the genre of contemporary instrumental music. Today, unlike most of the composers we see today, Leo’s style was forged through apprenticeship which allowed him to grow with an integral and also philosophical vision of what making music is about. This old-fashioned way of learning music, although dead today, made of him the exceptional composer and artist he is. Trained as an anthropologist as well as a professional musician, Leo’s view of the world, his great human nature and understanding of diversity has greatly influenced his works. His music resembles a
