Leftovers From Last Night are a pop punk/alternative rock band from Cape Town, South Africa. Follow LFLN on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/LeftoversFromLastNight Current members include: Matt - Vocals/ Guitar Alex - Vocals/ Guitar Jesse - Drums/ Vocals Dom - Bass Leftovers From Last Night started out as a pretty casual project where a group of high school guys decided to get together and play a song for an upcoming variety show at their school. At the time the band consisted of: Matt (lead vocals and guitar), Gavin (guitar), Dom (bass and backing vocals) and Jesse (drums). The first practice took place in early August 2010. But after the first practice they were eager to play sooner. Jesse came up with the idea of playing as entertainment during the interval of a school function. After confirming that they would be playing they moved on to putting together enough music to fill a full set. These songs included 3 covers and one original. Leading up to the event Matt suggested the band get a name. After a while of thinking, Dom came up with the name Leftovers From Last Night. After the school function they decided to try make something out of the band so they started taking things more seriously and started writing more original material. Thereafter they played in various gigs, the main one being a gig in which they shared the stage with The Dirty Skirts.
