It's May 2001, and the day of Danny Tenaglia's official return to the legendary club Twilo, New York. Amidst all the excitement and celebration, before the night even began, police chained closed the doors of the club and shut it down for good. What could have ended the night then and there, was just the catalyst that would guide Dj/Producer Lee Kalt's musical career in years to come. In last minute desperation, Lee made a quick call to Danny's manager, and together they transported the last night of Twilo to Lee's loft in Soho. Tenaglia arrived under the cover of night and Lee kicked off the party with his own opening set for a crowd of 500 people among which Danny Howells and Satoshi Tomie were a few of the notables in attendance. While the party that night ended after 27 hours, Lee's career in the music industry was just beginning.W A few weeks later, Lee Kalt 'officially ' introduced himself to the New York City club life as the founding resident of the legendary Sullivan Room. Lee's flawless and pounding sets formed Fridays @ SR into one of New York's most well-respected house music parties, showcasing up and coming Dj's from all over the world including Lee Cabrera, Dirty Vegas, Luiz Diaz, and AstroGlyde.
