Born of fall’s wind and the swift sweep of a rake, Leaf Pile gathered on the curbs of Jersey City in November of 2010 and combined the sounds of guitars, bass, violin, and hand percussion to produce music that makes their mothers proud. Crafted on Kyle’s (vocals/guitar) lyrics and melodies, Yeon (vocals/guitar), RBK (violin), Mike (bass), and Brian (percussion/bouzouki/backup vocals) stack their talents into the heap of love known as Leaf Pile. Their sound has been described as “unique, adorable, indie-folk.” In the short time this band has been together, they have managed to amass a swell of fans while the wind blows them through a variety of venues in the New York metro area.
