Leachate was formed in later 2017 by Ethan Maneval. Ethan later recruited CJ Coronado and Jon Ward for guitar and drums respectively. Jon moved to merchandise, Ethan switched to drums, and the band performed as a two piece until recruiting Andrew Nye (Suppressive Fire, ex-Arghast, ex-Antenora) for bass. After many splits and EPs, Leachate released their first full length album, Gentrified Swamp, in April 2020 on To Live A Lie Records.
