The man behind Le Colvert’s sound and ideas is Félix Beaulieu. With the release of « The Seed That Will Never Grow », he demonstrated a sense of self and creativity that helped him express his understanding of nature, coexistence and love. Written, recorded and thought from his basement, the album consists of 11 songs seemlessly transitioning from one to the other. Beaulieu is a self taught multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter from Quebec but used the help of Li Feng, a violin virtuoso on some songs. I've known Félix for about 2 years now and he has never failed to amaze me. Watching him being so passionate while talking about music and pouring his heart out every time he grabs an instrument is a feeling i could never even begin to describe. I've never met someone so dedicated and talented in my whole life and seeing him share his talent to the world makes me the happiest girl on earth. My love for Félix is beyond words.
