Lauro Castelo (aka Lauro Gatinho, "Lauro Hottie") is a sassy 14yo boy who studies in the Escola Especial Pastor dos Campos (aka Field Shepherd Special School), Sapiranga, RS, Brazil. He's always smiling and showing how much he cares about everyone he knows. He totally loves playing online games with his buddies and classmates in the lan house near his school. However, his friends don't call him by the nickname "Lauro Gatinho"; they rather call him "Dark'Paladinu-BR", his screen name whilst playing Tibia Online. The "Lauro Gatinho project" started as a joke with his classmates; they realized he was a gifted musician because he's been playing piano and singing since he was 6yo. His lyrics are based on his life experiences. "Rocky Balboa" was writen because he's a hardcore Rocky Balboa fan and always wanted to compliment and thank him for being his idol in the best way possible. The song "Não gosto mais de você" ("I don't like you anymore") has its roots on some events that happened in his school breaks. The same applies to "Minha namorada é um zumbi" ("My girlfriend is a zombie"). "The Field Shepherd Special School decided to pay for the whole recording and marketing process of the Lauro Gatinho project. By the way, his alias was chosen by himself. Anyway, that's why we created this website: to spread the artistic work of Lauro Gatinho around, a playful kid that will bring a smile to your face with his music.
