Lauren is an Independent Contemporary pop artist from Houston, Texas who has been obsessed with music before she could finish a proper sentence. “ My father had guitars laying all over the house growing up and he would play the guitar and sing and I loved the feeling that I would get just being around music and the mystery that comes with how God would let us create it. Music has always taken me places I never dreamed, and I don’t just mean physical places I also mean spiritually.” Her 2003 Unfaded EP took her to multiple continents where she met some amazing people. “Music brings people in and that is one of my favorite things about being an artist, you get to meet cool people from everywhere and hear how my music has touched there life in some way. I remember my first trip to South Africa back in 2004 and it changed me. I just couldn’t believe that God used unimportant me to touch someone literally across the world. Music knows no race, cliques, financial status, it truly is powerful and when used the right way can truly change a heart. I love tangible music that has meaning whether to lift you up or make you think …” Lauren is looking forward to touring her upcoming album in 2011. “The team that I have behind me is incredible and the creativity is what I am in love with on this record.
