Laurel Near played the role of The Lady in the Radiator in David Lynch's Eraserhead (1977). She also sang in a trio with her two sisters Holly and Timi. The latter was a good friend of Catherine E. Coulson. Laurel is now a mother of 3 children and resides in Ukiah, CA. She currently co-directs S.P.A.C.E which stands for School of Performing Arts and Cultural Education, where she teaches children musical theatre, acting, and modern dance while addressing and teaching about cultural issues, and acceptance of diversity.
