Laura Lopez Castro is in her early twenties, was raised by her Spanish parents in Stuttgart (Germany), loves Björk, Elbow and Kyuss and can dance the Flamenco. Her first band was an indie rock band. The lyrics of her tracks, mostly written in her native tongue Spanish, are accompanied by melodies composed by Don Philippe, who is about one and a half decades older than her and one of the founding members of the German band Freundeskreis. Laura's voice and the reduced instrumental background melt love, melancholy and passion into a slow-paced acoustic dreamland. Her debut album "Mi libro abierto" has appeared on March 3, 2006, on Max Herre's newly-founded label Nesola.
