Born in '82 in Latvia. She grew up in a musical family and started to play the piano from 5 years old. She has given concerts around the world since the age of 11, and taken part in many int’l competitions such as Maria Canals (Spain) and received many prizes. She has been known to audience through concerts with her sister, the violinist Baiba Skride. The world noticed her qualities as a soloist. She was invited to Staatsorchester Hannover, the Hamburger Symphoniker (Peter Schreier), and so on. She has also given recitals in Europe and Asia.
