Last Breath Ashore was formed in February 2010 after Chris Ott (guitar) and Yousif del Valle (drums) began collaborating and decided to include Thomas Schultz (guitar, vocals) in a new project. Shortly after, Ryan Korolchuk (bass) was added and the group began practicing and writing regularly. By November 2010, they had enough material to record their first album, Ashes of Affliction, which was released in December 2010. After finishing the album, Yosif del Valle decided to part ways with the band to pursue other interests. In early 2011, Eric Rundell (drums) and Rich Dawson (guitar) joined the band. Last Breath Ashore is currently preparing to play shows spring/summer 2011 and aims to record another album late 2011.
