Artist
Lars Bergman grew up in a small Swedish town, to the music of Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schultze. By the age of 20 he had soldered together a modular synthesizer, with the Swedish computer ”ABC 80” as sequencer. But short of cash and with increasing technical issues, he got fed up, trashed everything and left it behind - ”never to return”. He went on to play mainly classical flute for many years, leaving electronics to his professional career as an engineer. In recent years, Lars has been revisiting his youth, once again designing and building electronic music gear. The music that has emerged can be described as somewhat minimalistic, mainly sequence driven and with few elements. All recordings are made live in one take, ”no computers harmed in the process”.
