Detroit recording artist .Jerry 'O whom had a local hit recording at the time with The Funk Brother's of Motown called (Karate Boogaloo) his real name was Jerry Murray when on to start his recording label (Boogaloo Records) based on Chicago's West side alone with his cousin Willie Moore of Chicago IL ..As the years rolled on for Larry Dixon he when on to record with a new group called The Soulful Spades. The Soulful Spades all of The Chicago IL area. One special member included Larry's older brother Malvin Dixon Jr, whom also was ex-member of his first group the Explanation's.
