Larissa Groeneveld, remember this name’, Le Figaro wrote in 1995. During the years Larissa Groeneveld formed ensembles with pianist Frank van de Laar ,the Osiris Trio and with the harpist Gwyneth Wentink. She played in concert with Giora Feidman, Natalia Gutman, Herman Krebbers, Reinbert de Leeuw and Giovanni Sollima. In 1990 she graduated at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam with Dmitri Ferschtman with the highest distinction. She continued her studie with Natalia Gutman at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart, and followed masterclasses with Mstislav Rostropovich, Daniel Shafran and Yo Yo Ma. Many well known dutch composers wrote compositions for her, a.o. Theo Loevendie,Theo Verbey and the double concerto for her and Ernst Reijseger by Guus Janssen. At the Amsterdamse Cellobiënnale 2010 she played the world première “Bandersnatch for cello and pianola” of Theo Verbey, and in 2012 “Words and song without words” of Yannis Kyriakides.The composition won the “ International Composers Rostrum Prize 2014”. With the Osiris Trio she played many concerts, all over the world.The trio won many prices a..o. in 1992 the Philip Morris Finest Selection and the Annie Bosboom Prijs in 1997. In 1996 they played in the serie Rising Stars, with one concert in the Carnegie Hall in New York. In 1988 she made het debut in the Grote Zaal of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam with the Tripelconcert of Beethoven. As a solist she played a.o. with the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, the
