to talk about spanish grindcore / mincecore, is the obligation to talk about Violent Headache, band from Barcelona formed in 1987 and active until 2012. During all these years (more than 20) Violent Headache lived and suffered all kinds of periods : good, bad , boring , successful, etc. . and around the band emerged , born and died other extreme music projects such as grindcore, noisecore , crust or harsh noise . One of these projects was LAPIZ (in spanish : PENCIL) , which was a sort of parody of the great bands of rock and mainstream metal. With a name as absurd titles and hundreds of equally or more absurd , ironic , mocking , humorous or assets LAPIZ spent time rehearsing and recording tracks super- short , super fast and super- simple. That is, as the great 7 Minutes Of Nausea had taught us all. In Spain and around the world , dozens of bands noise-core born between the period 1990 - 1995 and then gradually disappeared without being replaced by new... not really know why. Some recordings even lost forever, but in 2013 was born a new label called " Emocaust Records " who is determined to work hard to rescue from oblivion all these recordings of Noisecore and Grindcore bands, unfortunate and short-lived . PENCIL do not invent anything, but keep the spirit that I should always have Noisecore: irreverent, rebellious and unruly. And all this to do with a lot of spontaneity, dadaΓ―st spirit, freshness and overall good mood ... a lot of sense of humor. http://www.discogs.com/art
