Lang a.k.a Andrus Lang, 32 year old "Wisdom" : I started my "music career" as an MC in one of the well known Estonian band, named Caater, where I perform sometimes even now. I have been interested in electronic dance music (EDM) as long as my old brain can remember (more than 10 years!!) :) Yep a.k.a Viljo Jõela, 27 year old "Kid" : I used to listen Scooter, Faithless and that kind of softer radio hits before meeting Lang. In one day I logged into one internet chatroom and besidse all small talk, insulted Caater's production very deeply. Lang happened to see and thought, that Kid needs to be guided... Lang & Yep put their heads together and formed a dj/producer team in 2002, the first result came in April 2003, when the national Pioneer DJ Competition took place. It was worthwhile, first place was a breakthrough - they got their first big gig in Freedom Parade main stage, in August 2003. This is the biggest street-festival in Estonia, that is usually attended by more than 45 000 people. After that they got residency in 2 big nightclubs, Atlantis & Sunset and furthermore they were “adopted” by Club Unlimited, which is the biggest promoter in Estonia and has brought nearly 100 famous DJs from all over the world during last 8 years. In March 2006, Lang & Yep released their first single called PÖKK – it got support and positive feedback from many European djs and even reached several radio-charts.
