laneway is a duo. Louise O'Reilly and Paul Hannan write and perform songs reflecting the influence of folk and country styles with a love of harmony, a touch of psychedelia and a pop sensibility. Based in Melbourne, Australia the pair initially played as a harmony based acoustic duo. Their debut record 'if you don't need it let it go' was recorded live and to tape in 2008 for release in 2009. They were joined in the studio by Colin O'Reilly (aka The Fingers Malone Ensemble) on drums and Tom Butts (True Live) made some appearances on double bass.
